Bird Watching Adventure
Look and listen for birds! Can you spot 3 different birds? What colors are they? Can you hear them singing?

Parent note
Safety: keep distance from birds — never approach nests (can cause the parent to abandon eggs, and some birds dive-bomb). Don't touch bird feathers, droppings, or dead birds (disease risk — wash hands thoroughly if contact happens). Apply sunscreen for long observation sessions; bring water. Stay with your child in public parks — review stranger awareness. For early-morning/late-afternoon sessions, check visibility and temperature. Reduced-mobility adaptation: bird watching is one of the most wheelchair-accessible outdoor activities — a quiet seated position is actually the ideal observation posture. Many parks have wheelchair-accessible bird blinds and paved birding trails. All sketching, measuring, tallying, and research work is seated. Binoculars work identically from a chair.
